The Farmers’ Co-operntive Auctioneering Co., IXd., reports:

We had a good entry of beef, fat and store sheep, and an. extra large yarding of fat pigs in the Frankton yanks on Tuesday last. Beef improved on the previous week’s market, being more noticeable with the cow beef. Fat sheep sold at late rates, while stores were a little easier. Fat pigs (heavy baconei's) were up to last week’s valuations, fat porkers and all classes of stores showing a further decline.

Beef.—Good quality medium fat steers made, from £ll 10s to £l2, lighter £lO l(hs to £ll, small £9 Is to £9 ss; prime heavy fat cows and heifers £7 10s to £7 15s ; fat cows £5 16s to £6 15s, medium £5 to £5 Ils, light and unfinished £3 10s to £4 10s ; fresh-conditioned cows £2 15s to £3 ; stores £1 10s to £2 5s ; 18-months incalf Jersey heifers £5 ; dairy cows £5 to £7.

Sheep.—Medium fat wethens 35s 6d ; prime heavy fat 2-tooth ewes 345, •light and ordinary 25s tq 27s 3d, unfinished £1 to 325; well-grown ?.■ tooth wethers 30s ; F.M. ewes, store ewes, 15s to 17, culls 8s to 10s 3d; well-grown early shorn store lambs, mixed sexes 225, smaller 15s lid; 2tobth to 5-year ewes running with rams 29s 3d.

Pigs.—Heavy baconers £3 9s to £3 15s. medium £3 3s to £3 7s 6d, light £2 17s to £3 Is heavy porkers £2 15s to £2 18s,. medium £2 10s to £2 12s. light £2 to £2 ss, unfinished 33s to 35s ; slips £1 to £1 5s ; weaners 10s to 15s.
