FiGATEA. CONCHRT AND DANCE. The first of the functions to raise funds for the tennis courts which the Ngatea Tennis Club hopes to have laid down for next season eventuated on Tuesday evening, when a concert and dance, organised by Mr J. N. Anderson, the president, and Mrs Anderson, was held in the Ngatea Hall. There was a good attendance, am? the function was a decided success socially and financially. Musical items were contributed by Messrs Roberts, Beach, and McGregor, of Thames; Miss Parfitt, Pipiroa;,and members of the] Ngatea choir, and during the dance there were many innovations.
