The Prime Minister’s illness latciy developed more serious symptoms. After consultation between his medical advisors and Dr. Carrick Robertson. of Auckland, it was decided that investigation by operation was essentia’..

The operation took place in Bowen Street Hospital, Wellington, early this morning. The patient bore the operation well.
