HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : » \Ve held our usual weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last, and had a full yarding of fat and store cattle, an extra, heavy yarding of tat and store pigs, while a fair entry of sheep was offered. Prime steer and cow beef maintained the values of late markets, while plain and ordinary were considerably lower. Mutton was hardly up to the previous week’s quotations. Fat pigs drew good competition throughout the sale. Prime medium weight fat steers made from £ll 12s to £ll 15s, lighter £lO 13s to £ll, small and unfinished £6 7s (id to £0 17s 6d ; prime heavy fat cows £7 15s to £8 3s; fat cows £6 5s to £7. medium £5 to £5 10s, light £4 to £-1 10s, unfinished £3 to £3 10s ; store? cows £2 to £2 10s; fresh-conditioned, well-grown 5-year bullocks £8 19s ; 4year steers £6 15s to £6 18s ; forward conditioned 2%-year steers £6 2s to £C 5s ; good quality 18-months steers £4 to £4 ss. Sheep : Fat wethers, 2to<'th, 34s 6d to 35s 6d; prime fat ewes 33s to 33s 3d; medium and plain fat ewes 24s to 25s 3d; fat lambs 25s : cull ewes 9s 9d; fair store woolly lambs 18s (id, small 14s ; best shorn lambs 18s 6d.
