HAURAKI DRAINAGE BOARD.

(To the Editor!. Sir, —In reply to Mr .Willy’s letter of the 23rd iiret. I would like to remind Mr Willy that the matter in dispute had no relation to the charac.teristic peculiarities of Mr Bennett, but was simply a question as to whether Mr Willy was or was not/ what he claimed to be, one of the founders of the liauraki Drainage Board, etc. He is evidently annoyd at my publication of certain facts in connection with the matter, but that is no excuse for his resorting to personal abuse, which, besides being always recognised us admission of an unsound argument, is making as big a mistake as claiming to be one of the founders of the Board* ete. JAS. A. BENNETT. March 26, 1925.
