PAEROA V. HIKUTAIA. Duung the week-end three rinks from the local bowling club journeyei to Hikutaia and succeeded in wresting the Alley Challenge Buttons from the holders after an enjoyable contest. ALLEY BUTTONS GAME. Ideal weather prevailed, and the green, which has recently been topdressed, was in splendid playing con l dition, and the improvement effected by the ton-dressing has made a tremendous difference to the surface.
