Loan of £3lOO for the purpose of paying off the balance oi the Orchard Bridge Loan and of the liability to Ohinemuri County Council in respect of Waihou (Puke) Bridge Loan. OTICE is hereby given 1. That it is the intention of the Hauraki Plains County Council under the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, . and amendments thereto respectively and. of the Hauraki Plains County Council Empowering Act, 1924, and of all other Acts, if any, it in that behalf enabling, to raise by way of loan the sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred Pounds and the sum of One Thousand Four Hundred Pounds over the County of Hauraki Plains for the purpose of paying off the balance of the Orchard Bridge Loan and its liability to the Ohinemuri County Council in respect of the Waihou (Puke) Bridge Loan respectively. 2. That as security for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and ether charges on the said loan it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a special rate of one-twentieth of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the County of Hauraki Plains. 3. That it is the intention of the said Council to pay out of the luan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year. ’ 4. The loan is for a period of 36 V years at such rate of interest not exceeding so much as may be authorised under section 11 of the Finance Act, 1921, together with an additional charge to provide the necessary sinking fund.
