HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports: We held our weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last, there being a good entry of steer and cow beef and full yardings of sheep and fat pigs. Beef improved on the previous report, and sheep of. all ‘classes again sold well under keen competition at late ratejs, as also did fat store pigs. Good quality medium weight fat steers brought from £ll 2s' 6d to £ll 17s, lighter £9 8s to £lO 10s, small and light £8 3s to £8 18s; fat cows £8 to £8 ss, medium £5 19s to £6 ss, light and unfinished £4 to £4 15s • fresh-conditioned cows £3 3s to £3 15s ; stores £2 to £2 10s, others £1 to 30s ; forward 4 and 5-year-old bullocks .£7 17s 6d to £8; 2-year-old steers, mixed colours, £4 ; forward 4 and 6-tooth wethers 355, 2 and 4-tooth 32s to 33s 6d, good 2-tooth 32s to 32s 8d ; fat ewes 28s 6d to 295; good 4‘ and 6-tooth breeding ewes 39s 9d, smaller 30s ; sound mouth ewejs (good frames) 26s 9d to 28s 6d ; cull ewes 10s to 15s ; best shorn rape lambs 21s to ?3s others 18s to 20k 6d; medium shorn lambs 15s to 17s, culls 8s 4d to 9is 6d, Pigs: Heavy baconers £3 6s to £3 Bs, medium £3 to £3 3s: good porkers to light baconers £2 15s to £2 18s; medium porkers £2 8s to £2 12s 6d, light £2 to £2 ss, unfinished 35s to £2 ; slips 23s to 30s.
