MANUAL SCHOOL.
BUILDING NEARING COMPLETION. A MONTH’S WORK TO BE DONE. Good progress is being made with the erection of the manual school in Miller Avenue, Paeroa. The structure is assuming a definite shape, and it can readily be seer that the building is to be of handsome design, well finished, and one that will be a decided asset to the borough. The fact that the school is being erected on the site chosen will also assist materially in making that-particular-locality of the town better known. The foreman, Mr V. C. Hollis, states that it is expected to have the outside work of the building completed and ready for the painters to commence early next week. The bricklaying, with the exception of the tiling, will be finished before this week-end. A sub-contract is being let for the drainage, which will comprise the const) vetion of a septic tank and sump-hole. It is anticiapted that the building will be completed in about four weeks’ time.
