Mr W. J. Byrne, who has resided in Paeroa for the last 14 years, .with t he exception of his war service, has accepted the agency of the A.M.P. Society for the Whangarei district, and leaves at the end of next week to take u,p his new duties. Mr Byrne came to Paeroa under engagement with the Thames Valley Co-op. Dairy Co. as its testing officer, and formed the first testing association in the Dominion. Hi>s work has had a lasting influence on the herd averages in this district.
