COUNTY BRIDGE POLICY.
POLL IX) BE TAKEN. SPREADING EXISTING LOANS. At yesterday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council a copy of the Empowering Bill was received from the Government printer. The Act authorfeed the council to raise by way of loan the sum of £17.00 and the sum of £l4OO over the whole of the county for the purpose of paying oft the balance of the Orchard Bridge loan and its liability to the Ohinemuri County Council in respect to the Waihou (Puke) Bridge loan, respectively, under the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913.
The council decided, on the motion of Cr. Harris, seconded oy Cr. Hayward, that the clerk take the necessary steps to take the poll of ratepayers
