OPENING OF SEASON. COMPETITIONS ON THE PLAINS. The first of the inter-club matches of the season under the control of the Hauraki Plains Tennis Association were played on Saturday. The weather was showery, and a very, strong, ginty wind was blowing. KAIHERE V. MANGAWHERO. Tiiis match was played at Kaihere and ended in a draw, each team securing 82 points.
