BOWLING.

TRIP TO COROMANDEL. Leaving Paeroa soon after 5 o’clock on Saturday morning a party of sixteen members of the local bowling club journeyed by motor-cars to Coromandel to play an inter-club match. The party had an enjoyable trip down, and at rived in good time to spend the greater part of the day ou the rinks. The visitors had a comfortable win over the home team. The Coromandel club excelljed itself in the treatment and hospitality accorded the visitors, and altogether a very enjoyable weekend v,as spent. The return trip was made in good time, and the majority of the players arrived back in Paeroa soon after dark last night. The following were the scores, Faeroe playens being mention'd first in each instance : —
