DAIRY CONTROL BILL

appreciation of services. MINISTER’S ACKNOWLEEGEMENT. At a recent conference of N.Z. Cooperative Dairy Company suppliers’ committees held at Ngatea a resolution was passed expressing their appreciation of the service rendered to the dairy industry by the Minister for Agriculture, Mr W. Nosworthy. This resolution was duly forwarded to the Minister, and has brought forth his acknowledgement, which is as follows :—

“I am in receipt of your letter of the 10th instant forwarding to me a resolution passed by a conference of suppliers’ committees at Ngatea relative to the Daily Industry Control Amendment Bill of last sesson. It is very pleasing indeed to know that these measures have met with the approval of the dairy farmers of the Hauraki Piains. The expression of appreciation of my own personal services to the dairy industry is particularly gratifying, coming as it does from those most vitally concerned in the continued success of that industry, and whose good opinion is most worth having. I should feel greatly obliged if you could take gome suitable means of conveying to your Hauraki Plains suppliers my wannest thanks for their kindly .message, and my wishes for their future prosperity.”
