. . — re-establishing in paeboa. The management of the firm of Edward Jones, which for many years carrier 1 on business in Paeroa, has decided to reopen in its old premises in Normanby Road, Paeroa. The fact that a suitable tenant could not be found to lease the shop has been the deciding factor In. the matter. On Friday last. Mr Edward Jones, the principal of the firm, was in Paeroa making arrangements for alterations ; and renovation to the building which he has left to Mr E. E. G.illman, architect, to have carried out. In speaking to a reporter of the "Gazette” Mr Jones said that he still thought and was convinced that Paeroa had great possibilities which would be realised in the very near future “Paeroa must,” he said, “see a better day, and my firm is going to show its confidence in that belief.” So that Paeroa will not be out of date or lag behind any town in the Dominion for up-to-date ladies’ and gentlemen’s footwear, sport and tennis goods, saddlery and.harness, motor hoods, fancy leather goods, travelling tarpaulins, rick covens, verandah blinds, and the many other lines which the firm deals in, large stocks are to be carried and sold at prices as keen as anywhere in New Zealand. The firm hopes to have the pleasure of meeting old friends and customers, and by proving their values hope tp make many new customers and keep the business in Paeroa. The headquarters of the firm is at Hamilton, and branches have been established at Te Aroha .Morrinsvllle, Matamata, Ngaruawahia, and Walton.
