A. & P. SHOW.
SATISFACTORY ENTRIES. Entries for the Hauraki A. and P. Association’s show to be held at Paeroa next week are reported to be coining in satisfactorily, and there is every prqspect of a successful show. The baby show is sure to create considerable interest. The weightsuessing competition will, as usual* provide an opportunity for judges of the weight of stock to prove their ability. The amateur judging of cattle on the second day should be well supported, especially by young farmers. The Captain Hubbard Memorial Shield, at present held by Mr S. Lye, of Newistead, is this year to be competed for by Friesian breeders. The usual jumping competitions will be held on the second day, and special classes have been provided for children’s ponies.
