EXHIBITS IN ENGLAND. SUMPTUOUS HOMES IN CARS. Nearly 2000' of the most valuable dogs in. England, some secluded behind thick sheets of glass, others snugly wrapped in rugs, figured in the 63rd annual show of the Kennel Club at the Alexandra Palace, Wood Green. N, says the “Daily Mail.” The Pekinese and other small dogs had the most sumptuous treatment. In previous years these have been supplied by some owners with portable homes lined with silky cushions, but this year their caravans de luxe are still further improved. In some cases owners have had their cars extensively altered so that the portable home of their dogs fit as snugly as the accommodation for human passengers. More than 70 different kinds of dogs yapped in chorus, the rarest being the pathetic-looking Griffons from Belgium, the fox-like Schipperkes, the Papilions from France, and the Salukis, . the hunting hounds of the Arabian deserts.
