NGATEA STOCK SALE. There was a good yarding of stock at the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency’s monthly stock sale at Ngatea on Friday last. Best quality dairy cows and heifers brought from £8 to £lO 10s, others £5 to £7 10s, culls 50s to £3 5s ; good fat cows £5 to £7 10s, others £3 10s to £4 15s ; stores 25s to £2. There was little demand for empty heifers, and they were hard to quit Prices realised were from 30s to £2 ss. Very few steers were yarded
