GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TONIGHT. RIDGEWAY OF MONTANA. From the rolling plains of the biggest ranch in Montana to the heights of the snowclad peaks ranges the action of "Ridgeway of Montana,” Jack Hoxie’s western starring feature, a Univetsity offering to be shown tonight. Hoxie is supported by a capable cast, including such veterans as Herbert Fortier, Lou Meehan, Pat Harmon, Charles E. Thurston, and William McCall. In addition, Pierre Gendron, one of the most promising juvenile leading men, and Olive Hasbrouck, a “discovery,” elevated from tlie ranks of minor players, are presented in principal roles. “Bunk,’ an Australian shepherd dog owned by Hoxie, also is seen in his veiy first screen role. SATURDAY NIGHT. THE DANGEROUS MAID. Constance Talmadge in ‘ The Dangerous Maid,” a First National picture, is to appear to-morrow night. It is a rollicking story of romance and adventure, laid in the time of King James 11., and has been declared by many critics to be the most pretentious production in which this star has appeared. Playing the part of Barbara Winslow, Miss Talmadge has a role which reveals that she possess* es a remarkable versatility. Known chiefly as a comedienne, she is called upon to give a dramatic characterisation and she does so with a sureness and finesse that are striking. Miss Talmadge is supported by Conway Tearle.
