WEDDING BELLS.
brock—McDonald. The Paeroa Salvation Army Hall was < tilled on Wednesday, October 29, on the occasion of a wedding ceremony conducted by Brigadier Toomer, divisional commander. The bride was Miss Lily McDonald, daughter of Mr'S and Mrs A. McDonald, and the bridegroom was Mr E. C. Brock, son of Mrs J. Brack, Bush Street, Paeroa. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in full Salvation Army uniform, blue serge costume relieved with white satin sashes, and was attended by her sister Ethel as bridesmaid. Mr F. Knight carried ; out the duties of best man. After the ceremony about 50 guests sat down to a sumptuous breakfast in the Centenary Hall, where congratulatory speeches were given by Brigadier Toomer, Captain Grice, Envoy Steventon, and others. A large number of presents testified to the high esteem in which the young couple are he>d by their friends. The honeymoon is being spent at Napier, after which the couple take up their residence at Taumarunui.
