PERSONAL.
Major R. ,F. Cambrill, Gisborne, has been promoted to Lieut.-Colonel ami is appointed to command the Ist Battal’on of the Hauraki Regiment. Major E. Edwards, Paeroa, has been transferred to the reserve of officers. Messrs Collins and McDowell, of the Government Audit Department, and Mr Harvey, chief accountant of the Lands and Survey Department, paid their annual visit to Kerepeehi lasi week.
