TENNIS COURT.
IT© the Editor}. Sir,—l wish to point out that the Methodist Club is exceeding its rights in that some of its members last Saturday played two sets in succession on the public court, thus keeping some of the public waiting approximately two hours for a game. This is not only over the odds, but the borough is losing money as well. Some weeks ago the Methodist Club put in an application to the Borough Council asking that it should have the right to mse the public court, providing it was unaccommodated, at the rate of Id per player per set, and on condition that these players vacated it, whether they had paid for their sets or not, immediately any of the public put in an appearance. The request was granted on these conditions. The club was therefore breaking its promise. Is the Domain Board going to til low this sort of thing? SUMMER SPORT.
