PERSONAL.
Dr. Leo de Castro, of the Wellington Hospital staff, is at present on a visit to his parents in Paeroa. Mr J. G. McDougall, postmaster, Paeroa, who has been absent on furlough, returned yesterday, and has resumed duty. — The friends of Mr and Mrs J. Couper will regret to learn that the condition- of Mr Couper on arrival in Auckland was such that his 1 medical advisers ordered his removal, to the Auckland Hospital. His state of health is causing great anxiety at present.
