LADIES’ PLAY. The match played last Saturday was j a four-ball-best-ball bogey handicap, and was won .by Miss F. Walmsley and Miss M. Thorp, with a score of one up on bogey. Next Tuesday will be a medal round of 18 holes, a trophy to be presented to the winner. The match for next Saturday will be an extra L.G.U. round, play over 18 holejs, players to choose their own partners in both matches. Mrs H. H. Bray, Paeroa, is representing the local golf club in the N.Z Golf Championship, which commenced at Hamilton on Saturday. It is pleasing to record that Mrs Bray won her match in the first round of the championship.
