Public Notices. NOTICE RESPECTING PROPOSED ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF PAEROA. Paeroa, Sept., 17, 1924. IT is hereby notified that a Petition is being presented to His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, under Section one hundred and thirty-four of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, praying that the Area described in the Schedule hereto, .being now part of the Ohinemuri County, may be excluded from the said County and included in the Borough of Paeroa. The object of the proposed alteration is to facilitate the supplying of water for domestic purposes to the New Railway Settlement, enabling the Paeroa Borough to lay the water-mains and collect the charges for supply. The land which it is proposed to include in the Paeroa Borough is all Crown land, held for Railway Settlement, and is according to the following Schedule : ALL THAT parcel of Land situated in the County of Ohinemuri and Block XIII. of the Ohinemuri Survey District, being part of the eastern portion of Hararahi No. 1 Block shown on plan No. 23232 (blue) and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the Borough of Paeroa, being the north-east-ern corner of Aorangi A section 2 in Block XIII., Ohinemuri Survey District, by a prolongation in a northerly direction of the eastern boundary of the said Aorangi A section 2, to a point in the Aorangi Road 50 links distant from its northern boundary; thence by straight lines 50 links distant from the northern boundary of the said Aorangi Road, running in an easterly direction to a point in prolongation in a southerly direction of the eastern boundary of that part of the eastern portion of the Hararahi No. 1. Block shown on Plan No. 23232 (blue) ; thence by a straight line, being the said prolongation of and the eastern boundary of the said portion of the Hararahi' Block running in a northerly direction; and by a straight line being part of northern boundary of the said Block running in a westerly direction to its intersection with the eastern boundary of the Borough of Paeroa; thence by part of the eastern boundary of the said Borough running in a southerly and south-easterly direction to the point of the commencement.
