KEREPEEHI. SCHOOL FOOTBALL. The Kerepeehi Football Club need have no apprehension about a dearth of players in. seasons to come if the present school team can be kept together This team has, during the last few weeks, created what is probably a record in football scores, having secured 101 points against theii .opponente’ nil in three consecutive .matches. The Ngatea school team was defeated by 29 to 0, Kopuarahi by 32 to 0 and then a.team drawn from the boys of the Turua, Kopuarahi, and Pipiroa schools was vanquished by 40 points to 0. Prominent Rugbyites who have seen the Kerepeehi schoolboys hi action state that they put up a splendid display of how the game should be played. KOPUARAHI. CRICKETERS’ DANCE. As a slight recognition of thanks <lue to the ladies of the district for the hospitality .they had extended to the guests of the Kopuarahi Cricket Club during the past season a dance was tendered them by the members of the club in the school on Friday evening. Despite the inclement weather there were about 40 ladies present, and they spoke highly of the enjoyable time spent. The floor was in good order, and good dance music was ’ supplied by an orchestra of cricketers, while members of the club proved adept in providing a tasty supper.
