THE WEATHER.
DOMINION FORECAST. WESTERLY WINDS AND RAIN. The following official weather forecast has been received: Expect strong westerly winds and heavy rain. During the week-end the weather remained fine until early last evening, when rain began to fall and continued steadily until early this morning. A north-easterly wind prevailed which increased to almost a gale during the night. The barometer is still low. and further rain may be expected.
