TO-NIGHT. SPORTING YOUTH. Often times a picture that has an unusually fast tempo slows up at some time or other during .the running of the film. The action drags as though the players and the directors were tired and were leaning back on their oars for a few minutes. Contrary to this, “Sporting Youth,” Reginald Denny's new Universal-Jewel feature, to be shown at the Gaiety Theatre to-night, picks up speed all the way through, like a high-powered car on a grade, and finishes in a blaze of speed that is dazzling. It is a story of automobile racing.'written by Byron Morgan and filmed under Harry' A. Pollard’s direction. Laura La Pi ante plays the romantic lead opposite the star.
