TO-NIGHT. LEGALLY DEAD. Adrenalin has “broken into print” in piactically every newspaper in the world because it brings people back to life. When a dynamite victim in Los Angeles, hopelessly torn to pieces and dead beyond doubt, was brought back to life for a few minutes, the newspapers carried the story far and wide. But due to the far-sightedness of Charles Furthmann, scenario writer who had studied adrenalin, the Universal Pictures Corporation had already “scooped” the journalistic world and had a screen story of it finished before the dynamite case came to light. "Legally Dead” is the title, and it will be screened at the Gaiety Theatre to-night, featuring Milton Sills, Claire Adams, Raye O’Neill. Brandon Hurst, Margaret Campbell, and others. SATURDAY NIGHT, HER REPUTATION. When “Her Reputation,” the latest Thomas H. Ince production, establishes the reputation that critics predict it will the veteran producer will add another cross to a long list of screen successes. This picture will appear at the Gaiety Theatre to-morrow night, and deals with a gripping and vital s-tory of the modern press. “Her Reputation” has attracted national attention, and is said to be the first picture ever screened giving a realistic picture of the inner workings of the newspaper game. May McAvoy, Lloyd Hughes, and Winter Hall are the stars.
