ENTERTAINMENTS

TO-NIGHT. THE GO GETTER. Several minor accidents marked the filming of certain scenes for the Paramount-Cosmopolitan production, "The Go Getter,’’ which will be screened at the Gaiety Theatre tonight. Seena Owen, playing the leading feminine role, was slightly bruised by the wing of the Curtiss airplane used in the production, and the leading man. T. Roy Barnes, risked hi.s life by standing on the tracks in the patli of a swiftly approaching train, jumping tp safety when the engine was only a few feet away. "The Go Getter" is an excellent picturisation of the story by Peter B. Kyne, directed by E. H. Griffith. The cast is excellent. THURSDAY NIGHT. SOCIAL AND EUCHRE. The promoters of the Anglican social and euchre tournament, which is to be held in the Gaiety Theatre tomorrow evening, are making every endeavour to ensure there being an enjoyable evening. Good music has been secured for dancing, and handsome prizes, four in number, are provided for the winners of the euchre tournament. A special committee is attending to the supper arrangements. The small charges asked for admission should ensure the theatre being well filled.
