Post entries will be received up to 1.30 P.mon Saturday next. The draw for the men’s Club Handicap the first round of which, must be played by June 14, Is as follows: j Arthur plays C. Wells; S. J. Hedge plays W- R- Rales ; C. N. O'Neill plays A. Gorrie; H. G. Somervell plays C. Topliss R. L. Miller plays C; Kenny; J. L. Hamla plays H. Bray; A. Steedman plays W. H. Blakeway. On June 3 the club has arranged to hold the usual annual tournament on the local links, and all preparations are well in hand to ensure success. The principal event to be decided is the East Auckland Amateur Championships, both for men men and ladles. The Paeroa Golf Club’s tournament has become very popular ■among the Goldfields and Fast Auckland golf clubs, and good play should be witnessed throughout the day’s programme.
