At the meeting of the Piako County Council on Monday last it was decided to enter into an agreement with Mr J. Clarkin for the purchase at 10s per yard delivered on the trucks of the whole of the output from his metal quarry at Te Arpba. The price quoted means about 8s pel -yard at the quarry.
