BOWLING.

"rhe weather conditions on Saturday afternoon last were anything but conducive to good bowling, and the games were marred to a large extent by the heavy rain that fell, making the green very heavy. Those wl’.o braved the elements, however, seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly. The final for the Easter second piognssive pairs competition was played between F. Hayward and W. Purdie, the last-named proving the winner. Other players present took part in an ordinary “roll-up.” On Saturday next it is expected that an inter-club match with Thames will be played on the local green. Flavors willing to take part are requested to enter their names on the list posted in the pavilion.
