NOTICE is hereby given that 1 the Paeroa Borough Council will, at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held in the Borough Council Chambers, Paeroa, on the Bth day of May, 1924, at 7.30 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period, commencing on the Ist day of April, 1924, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1925, under Sections 78 and 88 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1905,' Sections 48 and 50 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” and Section 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1919,” namely A GENERAL RATE of Sijtl in the £. A SEPARATE LIGHTING RATE of id in the £. A SEPARATE HOSPITAL Rz-'TE of Jtl in the £. Moneys available, £723 10s 4d. Estimated Receipts (rents, licenses, outstanding rates, etc.), £1237 10s. Balance proposed to be met by a General Rate of 3j|d on £173,000, being the total unimproved rating value of the property on the Valuation Roll for the Borough of Paeroa, £2700.
