VETERINARY CLUB.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. The mpnthly meeting of the executive, of the Farmers’ Veterinary Club was held at Ngatea yesterday afternoon, there being present: Messrs Wiite, C. Schultz, G. T. Davidson, J. Donaghy, A. J. Andrews, and Burke. Committeemen reported in detail on the result of interviews with mem-' bets who owed the club money for subscriptions and services with varying results.
it - was decided that Messrs Waite and Burke canvass Turua for new members and welcome them to the annual meeting. in view of the fact that the annual meeting would be held about, the end of the mouth considerable discussion took place on the future of the club with a view to making a recommendation.
The secretary reported that there were 88 financial members last year. It was decided to leave the matter to the annual meeting, it being apparent that the club was on a satisfactory footing, but that it would require careful handling in the future. Messrs Davidson, Burke, and Andrews were appointed to arrange the luncheon for the annual meeting. It was.decided that the date of the general meeting be advertised, ami that a notice be inserted in the "Gazette” reminding members that any notice of motion must be handed in to the secretary at least 21 days before the annual meeting.
