CAPITAL OF £5009.
BUSH AREAS TO BE BOUGHT. The first statutory meeting of R. Phillips and Co., Ltd., sawmillers and timber merchants, was held on Wednesday last. Mr R. Phillips was appointed managing director, and Mrs Phillips and Messrs J. Morrison (jt’nr.) and C. A. Stembridge directors. The capital of the company is £5OOO, divided into 5000 shares, of which over 2000 have been fully paid up The company has purchased the milling plant of Mr R. Phillips, on Station Road, together with all mill - ing rights by him.
The company at is first meeting decided to secure further blocks .if milling bush, and accepted contrac>s for working the bush and carting to the mill on Station Road. The quantity contracted for per day is not to oe le«s than sfix thousand feet logs.
The balance of the shares. are now offered to the public, and anyone interested may get full particulars from the managing director or Mr G. 2Allen,
