Meat Producers’ Board has received the following cable from its Londoh office, dated March 21, 1924, advising the Smithfield delivered prices at that date :— N.Z. wethers and maidens : Canterbury quality, selected brands, 561 b and under B%d per lb, 571 b 641 b 3(1 pel - lb, 651 b to 721 b 7%d per lb ; other brands, 561 b and under B%d per lb, 571 b to 641 b 7%d per lb, 651 b to 721 b 71(d per lb. N.Z. Ewes: 641 b and under 6%d per lb. N.Z. new season’s lamb: Canterbury quality, 361 b ami under 10'd per lb, 371 b to 42 Ib .lOd, 4'3 to 501 b lOd, .seconds 9%d. Selected brands, 361 b and under 10%d, 371 b to 42ib lOVsd. Other brands, first quality. 421 b and under 9%d, seconds 9%d. Argentine chilled beef: Ox fores ox hinds 5%d. Argentine frozen beef: Ox fores 3%d, ox hinds sd. Frozen pork: 8011 b to 1201 b 7%d, 1201 b to 1801 b 7d.
