Mr Wrigley, probably the biggest manufacturer of chewing gum in the world, says: “I believe in newspaper advertising. I spend about a million dollars a year for newspaper space to tell the world about- the goods I have to sell. Nearly everybody reads the papers, and they are the most effective medium to reach the buying public quickly and often.”
