PURSUANT to Section 50 of “ The Rating Act, 1908,’ notice is hereby given that the Hauraki Plains County Council, in pursuance of Section 20 of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf intends at its next ordinary meeting to be held in its office at Ngatea on Tuesday, the Btii da.v of April, 1924, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of One Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty Pounds (£1,450) authorised to be raised by the Hauraki Plains County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of Drainage Works in the Horahia-Opou Special Drainage District Rating Area as set forth in the petition of a majority of the ratepayers in the said rating area to make and levy a special rate of 4-5 d in the pound on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Horahia-Opou Special Drainage District RatingArea in the County of Hauraki Plains such special rate to be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and to be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 36-i- years or until the loan is fully paid off, to Ernest Walton, County Treasurer, at the County Office at Ngatea.
