KOPUARAHI. - COUNTY MACHINERY LOAN. Members of the Hauraki Plains County Council addressed the settlers of Kopuarahi on the Machinery Loan proposal on Wednesday evening. Mr D. J. O’Carrpll presided over an attendance of eighteen ratepayers. After the addresses numerous questions were asked and answered. Mr. W. E. Hale moved that a hearty vote of thanks be accorded the councillors and staff for attending and laying the information before the meeting. He expressed the opinion that the amount of the loan was not large enough to provide sufficient machinery to meet the requirements of the county. He felt that he was voicing the opinion of the settlers in saying that they had every confidence in the council, and he could not see where better men could be found to represent the ratepayers. He urged every ratepayer to not only vote for the loan but also to see that his neighbour voted. Kopuarahi had voted solidly for the loan when it was last put, and he was sure that an equally solid vote would again be recorded. The motion was. seconded by Mr A.
