TOLL OF THE AIR.

SKELETON FOUND ON BEACH. LOSS OF SCHOONER RECALLED. HOBART, Thursday. A skeleton discovered on the beach near Cape Portland, north-east, coast, is believed to be the remains of one of two aviators sent by the Federal Government two years ago to search for the schooner Amelia J., which was lost at sea. The aviators were last seen by the inhabitants of' one of the Straits islands flying in the direction of the east coast.
