BOWLING.
INTER-CLUB MATCH. An enjoyable inter-club match was played on the local rinks last evening, tin ler the glare of the electric light, when the Te Aroha Club sent down four rinks to play the Paeroa Club. The evening was very mild,, and tn spite of the heavy dew the gree.i played well. The was a good attendance of spectators. At the conclusion of the match the president (Mr W. T. Power) announced the results and welcomed the visitors on behalf of the Paeroa Club. Mr Kendrick responded on behalf of the Te Arolia Club, and thanked Paeroa for the welcome, and at th 3 same time extended an invitation to the local club to pay a visit to To Aroha. Supper was served in the pavilion before the visitors left on the homeward journey. The following arc the results, Te Aroha players being mentioned first : Burrows, Wyborn, McLean, Boles (skip) 11 v. Hale, Mettam,. Purdie, Hayward (skip) 27; Kendrick, Sellars, Childerhouse, Maingay (skip) It v. OLen, Morland, Power, Wells (skip) 32 ; Pilkington, Wilson, Hedg?, Peterson (skip) 22 v. Gibb, Ellis, Le Cocq, Cane (skip) 22; Firkin, Ray, Toney, Heathcote (skip) 16 v. McCullav, Wilks, Busby, H. Smith (skip) 26. Totals : Paeroa 107, Te ’Aroha «0.
