Public Notices. THE THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. NUTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 9 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, Wat it is proposed by the Thames Valley Electric Power Board to raise under Part 1 of the said Act a further Special Loan fo ; ' the purpose of purchasing and constructing electric works within the meaning of and pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act, 1918. ’fhe sum proposed to be borrowed is £150,000. The Board proposes to appropriate and pledge as a security for this loan and interest a Special Rate of one-fourth of a penny per pound on the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Electric Power District. It is proposed that the said loan shall be repayable at the expiration of thirty-six and a hall years from the Ist day of December, 1924, and that f, sinking fund shall be provided of one per centum per annum. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising same, and the interest and sinking fund for the first year. By order of the Board. R. SPRAGUE, Manager.
