The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received a cable from its representative in Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments, to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended the 12th instant from Argentine and Uruguay. The figures do not include exports from Patagonia, Chili, or Brazil) : —170,342 quarters chilled beef ; 34,617 quarters frozen beef; 106,180 carcases frozen mutton ; 110,226 earcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled 71,947 quarters frozen beef and 5,629 carcases of frozen mutton.
