TENNIS.
PLAINS MATCHES. The second matches in the A and B grade competitions organised by the Hauraki Plains Tennis Association were played on Saturday laftst. The weather was fine, and there was only a very light breeze. A marked improvement in the standard of play from that witnessed in the first matches four weeks before was noticed.
