CHRISTMAS POULTRY.
SPECIAL AUCTION SALE. The well-known Central Mart of < Mr B. Stansfield's will, be a hive of ' industry on Saturday next, when a 'special auction sale is to be held. A golden opportunity will be afforded the public to purchase their Christmas goose, turkey, ducks, or fowls at special auction prices. Mr Stansfield intends to offer also a wide range of new and second-hand furniture, including single, three-quarter, and double beds, and woven wife mattresses, cable edge, non-sag wove, ' and bedding galore. The usual Friday auction sale this week has been postponed till Saturday at 1.30 p.m. so as to enable country people as well as town residents to attend.
