DRUIDS’ LODGE.

81-ANNUAL INSTALLATION. The bi-annual installation of officers' in the United Ancient Order of Druids of the Thames Valley lodges wrs held in the Druids’ Hall, Paeroa, on Monday evening last. The Grand Guardian, Bro. T. Wilson, of Auck-. land, acted as installing master, and was ably assisted by the Junior Grand President, Bro. Le Martin, Hamilton, and District President, Bro. J. H. Lewis, Thames. The following brethren were installed as officers for the Star of Paeroa Lodge, No. 18, for the ensuing .term : A.D., Bro P. Angle ; P.A., Bro. C. H. Pa-coe; A.D.8., Bros. Perry and Nichol); T.G., Bro. Shaw; V.A.8., Bros. Broyd and Murray; Minute Secretary, Bro. R. Turner; Secretary, Bro. W. Turner; Auditors, Bros. JT. Brown and J. Darbyshire ; Treasurer, Bro. F. E. Flatt; 0.G., Bro. J. T. Mettam. Brethren were also duly installed as officers for Victoria Lodge, Waikino, Star of Te Aroha Lodge, Te Aroha, Victoria Lodge, Karangahake, and Dominion Lodge, Thames. After the ’ installation ceremony was concluded a lengthy toast-list was gone through and a very happy couple of hours were spent in song and story. About 150 brethren assembled to take part; in the proceedings, and a number of visitors, including the principal officers of the Loyal Jubilee Lodge of Oddfellows, Paeroa.
