YOUNG HELPERS’ LEAGUE
• ANNUAL BOX OPENING. The box opening for 1923 in connection with the Young Helpers’ League (with Miss Shaw as secretary) took place at the school this week and disclosed the very encouraging amount of £9 2s, made up of the following: — Myrtle Henton £1 3s 3%d, Jean Parkinson £l, Faulkner Bush 18s 3d, Muriel Tattersall 10s 4 1 />d, Victor Capill 10s 4d, Hilda North 9s, Hazel Brock 9s, Duncan Fleming Bs, Allan North 7s Roy Capill "s sd, Olive Draffin 6s 3d, Jean Holes 5s 10d, JacK Silcock 5s Bd, Annie Innes 5, 5, Lulu Vuglar ss, Gladys Gwilliam 4s Ud, Joseph Pdrry 4s 3d, Bertha Wood 4s 2%.d, William Parry 4s Id, Oliver Wood 3s %’d, Reginald Roberts Is lOd, Huia Blyth Is 9d, Bessie Ryan Is 4d, Edna Hayward Is 2d, infants 4s 6%d, total, £9 2s.
