Public Notices. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW Loan of £28,600 for the construction of Bitumen Roads in the Horahia Riding Special Rating Area. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN 1. That it is the intention ot the Hauraki Plains County Council under the provisions of ‘‘The Counties’ Act, 1920, Inc Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” and amendments thereof respectively, and all other Acts (if any) it in that behalf enabling to borrow the sum of £28,600 for the following purposes: a. Improving, metalling, and laying down as a Bitumen Road, the Turua-Kopuarahi Road (sometimes called Piako Road) a distance of approximately 170 chains. £5380 b. That as security for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the said loan it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a special rate of 3fd in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Horahia Riding in the County of Hauraki Plains. 3. That it is the intention of the Council to pay out of the _loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund ioi the first year. 4. The loan is for a period of years at such rate.of interest, not exceeding so much as may be authorised under Section 11 or the Finance Act, 1921, together with an additional charge to provide the necessary sinking fund.
