ENTERTAINMENTS.

CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES TO-NIGHT. TRAVELLING ON. William S- Hart, the popular Western star, appears to-night in "Travelling On.” The scenes are laid in Arizona when a trackless arid territory, with its grim face etched by the trails of hard prospectors. It is a wonderful picture of human emotions, filled with clatter of' gun shots and hoof beats. THURSDAY NIGHT. MANSLAUGHTER. The picture for to-morrow night (show night) deals with the reckless younger society set so much in the public eye at the present time. The central figure is an arrogant society beauty, who kills a man in a motor smash, and the handsome young attorney who, though he loves her, sends her to prison.. Thomas Meighan and Leatrice Joy take the leads. PAEROA SHOW SENSATION. THE GLOBE OF DEATH. One of the most sensational performances ever seen in Paeroa is to be presented on the show grounds by the Fearless Staig Sisters. Thess two daring ladies drive motor-cycles to madness inside a huge s'.eel globe, and are the only ladies in the world who have attempted the feat of riding around this giant steel globe on high-powered motor-cycles. Miss May Staig opens the act with speed and stunt riding, driving up and down the globe. Then she and her sister race with motor-cycles at break-neck speed, missing each other by a hair s breadth. Concluding the act, Miss Saidie Staig defies all laws of gravitation by completely looping the loop from six to a dozen times in succession. Miss Staig has travelled the world, and hats' played in leading theatres in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Spain, etc. The sisters also appeared three times before their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain during their season at the great Circo Parish in Madrid.
